Led by women across the world, WOW has worked in 71 locations on six continents to promote the urgent need for gender equality, empower the next generation of activists and leaders, and share amazing stories from women, girls and non-binary people. Bringing joy, adventure and celebration to the action for change, no matter who you are, WOW is for everyone who believes in gender equality.
WOW Nepal 2019 – in 2019 the WOW Festival took place in Janakpaur in the Madhesh Province of Nepal. This image shows a performance against the backdrop of the beautiful Ram Janaki Temple, the birthplace of Goddess Sita.

WOW Girls Festival Bus, 2024 – this image shows a group of primary school pupils from the UK just after attending confidence building workshops on our travelling festival Bus. The Bus visited all four nations of the UK and hosted over 4,000 young people across 6 months.
